Early Bird Pricing
Early bird discounts encourage folks to secure their spots early, reducing last-minute registration rushes and giving your camp a steady flow of funds before the season even begins.
For early bird pricing, we recommend using our Effective Date and Until Date options in your price configuration. In the below example, a person would be charged $400 from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025. If they register between April 1, 2025 and April 30, 2025, they would be charged $450. Payment Plans
Payment plans allow families to dive in without the financial splash all at once. By breaking up the cost into smaller, manageable installments, you create a more accessible and budget-friendly option for folks.
Programs have a Down Payment option. Down Payments allow you to require a certain amount be paid upfront, while the remainder is invoiced for later payment. You can create as many Down Payment options per program as you would like. In the below example, a person would be charged $100 for the initial Down Payment and invoiced for the remaining $300. For more information about Down Payments in Fusion, please visit
Overview of Down Payments.

Additional Notes on Down Payments
If a Program Offering price is cheaper than the List Price but only has a Down Payment option on its pricing tab, it will pull the "Pay in Full" price from the List Price.
If you want the "Pay in Full" price to be reflective of the cheaper total encompassed by the Down Payment option, you would need to create another pricing option within the Offering.
For example, if the Program's List Price is $200 but the Offering price is $150, you would want to make a Down Payment and a non-Down Payment option to encompass both $150 price options.

Family Pricing Options
Family Pricing in Fusion
We commonly get asked about how to provide a member's dependent a specific rate. You can use a Family Price Category for this! Below, you'll see an example of a Price Category where a dependent of a Head of Household with an active membership qualifies. You can then use that Price Category in your Program configuration to give dependents of active members a specific rate. For more information on Price Categories, please visit
Fusion Foundations: Price Categories.
Please note in this example the Head of Household is required to have any active membership, but it does not matter what membership type they have. If you check items in any of the first three tabs, those restrictions would look to the dependent's age, Membership, or Eligibility, not the Head of Household's.

What if we want to offer the discount exclusively to Fac/Staff dependents?
You have two options for this!
- Assign a specific Eligibility to Fac/Staff kids, such as "Fac/Staff Dependent." With this option, the Fac/Staff member would need to let you know the account should be assigned the Fac/Staff Dependent Eligibility. From there, you can use that Eligibility in your Price Category configuration, and you can then use that Price Category for your Program. For more information on Price Categories, please visit Fusion Foundations: Price Categories.
- If you don't want to assign Eligibility to the child's account, you can create a Promo Code that is only able to be used by Fac/Staff members. The Promo Code can be restricted by Fac/Staff specific Price Category, and when a Fac/Staff member is purchasing the camp on the Member Portal for their child, they can use the Promo Code. During this process, the restrictions would apply to the purchaser, not the registrant. You can also use the Applicable Items restrictions to ensure the Promo Code is only used on summer camps! For more information on Promo Codes, please visit Fusion Foundations: Promo Codes.
