Aarica Stephenson currently serves as the Assistant Director for Public Engagement at MizzouRec, where she brings her municipal recreation experience to the world of campus recreation - taking what was formerly her smallest age demographic and making it the overwhelming majority. Passionate about creating welcoming and engaging experiences, she spends her days thinking about ways to reach each and every Tiger on campus and ensuring that MizzouRec feels like a place for every body.  

My name is Addy Maddox, and I currently serve as the AD of Member Engagement and Student Development and Georgia Tech. This is my first campus Recreation role and learning and becoming more proficient in Fusion has been a major goal. Looking forward to learning more about you all and how you use Fusion on your campus. Happy to be here!

I am a SoCal native but love travelling through the U.S. to sample local craft beers as well as hike and mountain bike. Fun fact: I am a ride leader for Girlz Gone Riding and encourage women of all ages to get out on the bike trails and just raced in my first enduro mountain bike race in Washington last year. It's amazing to have the opportunity each year to introduce new students to the UCR Student Recreation Center! 

I am currently the Director of University Recreation at Appalachian State University.  I have been in this position for almost two years, but have been with the department for fifteen years.  I love what I do and being part of the campus recreation community is very rewarding!

My name is Angela Gattoni and I am the Manager of Facility Operations & Membership Services for the Student Recreation Center at California State University, Northridge. I have worked in Campus Recreation for over 10 years, both as a Student Employee and Professional Staff. I am the resident Fusion expert within our organization and enjoy finding ways to enhance our operations and elevate our practices with Fusion. In my free time I enjoy watching sports and walking my energetic puppy!

My name is Ashley, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Recreation and Operations at MSMU. My role is primarily involved with facility operations. My institution is implementing Fusion for the first time, and this is my first time using Fusion, so very excited!

I proudly represent my culture, comunidad, and empowerment in everyday interactions. Through my work and research at the collegiate level, I have had the opportunity to connect with individuals from all backgrounds, which always brings me back full circle to the idea that no effort is too small, and no dream too big. Happy to be serving our community of students through the play, wellness, and meaningful connection that makes up Recreation! 

I have been with UConn Recreation for over 20 years. I started as the Assistant Director for Intramurals and have been serving as the Associate Director for Competitive Sports for the last 10 years. I was part of the leadership team that implemented Fusion for our Department in 2019 when we opened our new recreation center. I was also a participant in Fusion's Early Adaptor program for Fusion Club.

Brandon was born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico. He moved to Baltimore in 2012 to attend college. While in college, he joined URecFit & Wellness at UMB in the fall of 2012, working as a student employee. He then started working as professional staff in 2018, with a background in aquatics & safety, building operations, and business. In his free time, Brandon enjoys staying active, doing outdoor activities, and spending time with family, friends, and his dog, Bullwinkle.

I am in my 3rd year at Kennesaw State University, overseeing member services and student development. Before starting my career in campus recreation, I worked as a teacher/coach in South Carolina for 10 years. 

I am the Business Manager for Princeton University's Campus Recreation department.  I've been in this position for close to 20 years, but we have only been using Fusion for 1 year, so I'm excited to learn more about it!

Officially, I’m the Business Manager for Campus Recreation Services at the University of Utah. Unofficially, I’m a spreadsheet sorcerer, budget whisperer, and full-time fun instigator. I’ve worked everywhere from ski lifts to tech startups, but my true calling might be planning over-the-top themed parties and making ordinary days feel like festivals. When I’m not adulting, I’m probably drinking wine, chasing sunsets, or spoiling my dogs like they’re royalty (because they are).

I've been working with Fusion at Marquette University for a year and a half. I am excited to delve deeper and learn more!

I am a passionate guest first professional who is still new to campus recreation. I am looking forward to sharing our experiences and our facility with you all. 

I am an accountant at Sac State where I have worked for the past six years. In my spare time I do yoga, cardio, read, watch lots of movies and play video games.

I have been with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs for the past seven years, where I contributed to the implementation of Fusion in 2018 as a member of the project team.  Prior to my time at UCCS, I held various roles within Campus Recreation at Oregon State University.

I'm currently serving as Aquatics Senior Coordinator at the University of Colorado Boulder, where my responsibilities range from overseeing aquatics and ice rink staffing to programs and operations. This includes driving a Zamboni for ice maintenance. Before joining the University of Colorado Boulder Team in 2023 I was the Aquatics and Safety Program Coordinator at Arizona State University. I love recreating outdoors, paddle boarding, and water skiing.

I am the Intramural Sports Coordinator at Spelman College, where I play a vital role in fostering a culture of enhancing wellness through sports and recreation. With a passion for student engagement and holistic wellness, I am committed to creating inclusive and accessible opportunities for the Spelman community to stay active, connected, and empowered.

I have been working for UConn Recreation in various roles since 2019. I've had the opportunity to work with almost all aspects of Fusion and meet a lot of their staff. I'm eager to learn more and interact with fellow Fusion users!

I've been working at the CU Boulder Rec Center for 12 years. I oversee Outdoor Pursuits!

I am a two-time Iowa State University alum, and I currently work as the Student Development Coordinator for ISU Recreation Services! In my role I help with student onboarding, lead student committees, and plan programming to help students succeed during their time at ISU!

Name is George Ballart, but everyone calls me Mick.  I have been at SUNY Brockport for 10 years (4 as Intramural/Club Sports Coordinator and 6 as Assistant Director).  I am our department's Fusion go to when anyone needs assistance with it.  I enjoy staying active, watching sports, and officiate basketball.

I am the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation at Western Colorado University. Originally from Houston, Texas, I am a proud UCSB alumna with a passion for outdoor recreation and community building.

I am Janette Peguero and work as the Accounting Technician at Union Well Inc, supporting the students and community members of California State University, Sacramento. I graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt with a BS in Business Administration in 2022. In my free time I enjoy working out, playing feel good games like The Sims and Pokemon, or getting cozy on the couch to read a book.

My name is Jensen Kenney. I am a 2021 graduate of James Madison University and a 2023 graduate of West Virginia University. I am currently the Assistant Director of Facility Operations at LSU. I have been working in Campus Recreation since 2020 and have found a passion for working with students.

I have been using Fusion for almost three years at LSU.  I am excited to connect with other users and professionals across the country! Geaux Tigers!

I am originally from NY and started my career in campus rec 21 years ago as a student at the University of Rhode Island.  In my free time, I play Australian rules football and enjoy getting outdoors with my husband, twin daughters, and dog. 

I am new to the Campus Recreation/Fusion scene as I joined East Carolina University in November of 2024, previously coming from the private industry. I love to listen to music, play sports (specifically pickleball), workout, run, and travel. I'm an thrill seeker that's always down for an adventure! 

I am the coordinator of Member Services at NC State University. I've only been using Fusion for about 6 months and I'm excited to get a better understanding of how it works.

I began my campus rec journey at UNCW and then came to App State for my Masters and never left! I love the beach and enjoy watching UFC or college basketball! I have a four year old Husky named Luna!

I am originally from Washington State but have been living in Alabama for the last four years. I am the Assistant Director of Facilities and Reservations at Samford University and have been with Samford for 3 years. This is my second Fusion Summit.

I've been at CU Boulder for 3.5 years, CU Denver before that. I've been using Fusion since 2013 as an undergraduate. I work as a sports statistician on the side for fun, and if I'm not here it's because I'm becoming a dad.

Lia serves as the Administrative Assistant in the Wellness Center at Spelman College, where she provides essential support to ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. With a strong background in administrative coordination and a passion for wellness, Lia is dedicated to maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism within the center.  In her role, she manages scheduling, internal communications, and supports the Wellness Center leadership with day-to-day needs.

I worked for the first Shake Smart location at San Diego State University, then worked in the fitness industry and made my way back to Shake Smart in 2022. Now get to run all of our marketing, apparel, & social media while traveling to open new stores!

I am the current Coordinator for Member Services at the University of Florida. I am originally from South Florida, a UConn and University of South Carolina alum, and have a 5 month old Golden Retriever puppy named Teddy. I got my start in recreation in grad school where I interned and worked part time in Member Services & Events at South Carolina's rec department. 

Neal Scott, M.A., CWP, is the Director of Wellness Operations and Recreation at Spelman College. Coach Scott embodies operational excellence while advancing a Well FIT (Focused, Integrative, Transformational) approach to enhancing student and community wellness. Coach Scott is passionate about building a positive culture of well-being at Spelman through wellness education, health promotion, intramural sports and recreation, physical fitness, and aquatics.

My name is Rachel and I currently work at UCCS as the Program Coordinator for Sport & Youth Programs! I have worked in campus rec for the last 5 years, where I was most recently at the University of Arizona as the Sport Programs Coordinator. I have a strong passion for rec center administration, and am excited to be here!

Since December 2022, I have been part of the Business Operations team at Iowa State University Recreation Services. I specialize in streamlining communications and centralizing processes, with a focus on integrating invoicing and efficiency improvements using Fusion. I am dedicated to maximizing our department's use of Fusion and continuously enhancing our operational workflows. Outside of work, I enjoy running. 

I am a 2nd year professional at LSU UREC. I am originally from Atlanta, Ga and graduated from LSU in 2023 with a degree in Computer Science.

I'm Steven Campbell, a budget and resource coordinator with the ECU's Campus Rec & Wellness.  I handle all business operations and handle student hiring. 

Hi, I'm Susan! I started working in campus recreation as an undergraduate student and have continued on this path for the last 10 years. I love to be active, read, listen to music, and take my dog, Prince, on adventures. Looking forward to getting to know you all at the Summit!

My name is Taylor Hendricksen. I have been with Shake Smart for 8 years now, starting as a General Manager of our UT & TXST location. Grew up in California and now live in Austin, TX.
